Peach Cobbler

By Abby Edwards

this is the easiest cobbler ever.

Ingredients:

  • 1 large can sliced peaches, drained (29 oz can)

  • 2 sticks butter (melted)

  • 2 cups flour

  • 2 cups sugar

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

  • 2 cups milk (I used carnation evaporated milk)

  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon

  • Dash of ground ginger

  • Dash of ground cloves

Instructions:

  1. Place drained peaches into cast iron skillet.

  2. Melt butter and pour over peaches.

  3. Mix flour, sugar, spices, baking powder and milk until well blended.

  4. Pour over peach mixture. Bake at 350 for 45 or so minutes (depends on your pan size). This was an 8.

  5. You can also make this and leave out the cinnamon, cloves and ginger if you want! Enjoy!
